Our Story: A Family Dairy That Has Been Making Pure Ghee for Over 20 Years

We are a small family from a village in India. For more than 20 years, our mornings have started the same way with cows, milk, and the smell of fresh ghee slowly cooking on a wood fire.

Dairy was never a business plan for us. It was just how we lived. Our family has been collecting 1,000 to 1,200 litres of fresh A2 milk every single day for two decades. We never used hormones, we never mixed anything in, and we never cut corners on quality.

A2Farm started because we wanted city families to have the same ghee we grew up eating. Not the supermarket kind. The real kind. The kind that smells like your grandmother's kitchen.

We Still Make Ghee the Old Way, Using the Bilona Method

In most factories today, ghee is made by heating cream directly. It is fast, it is cheap, and it loses most of what makes ghee actually good for you.

We do not do that. We use the Bilona method, which is the traditional way Indian families have made ghee for hundreds of years. It takes more time, more work, and more milk. But the ghee you get at the end is completely different.

No machines touch it. No artificial smell is added. The colour, aroma, and taste you get in our ghee come from the milk and the process alone. That is it.

Why We Started A2Farm

A few years ago, we started sending our ghee to relatives living in cities. Their reaction told us everything.

They said things like "this is how ghee used to smell" or "I have not tasted ghee like this since childhood." Some of them did not even know what real bilona ghee tasted like because they had only ever bought the packaged kind from stores.

That gap is what pushed us to start A2Farm. Most ghee sold in India today is made from milk powder, refined oils, or blended fats. It looks like ghee. It is sold as ghee. But it is not ghee the way it was meant to be made.

Our only goal is to give you ghee that is 100% pure, made from real A2 cow and buffalo milk, with no added chemicals, no artificial colour, and no adulteration of any kind.
